Birthday Boy!

Ezra turned two this past weekend. It is crazy to think that he has never celebrated his birthday on U.S. soil. (O.k., I'm being a bit dramatic .. he is only 2 after all.)

His second year of life has been a lot different than what would have been had we not moved here. He recognizes the Petronas Twin Towers as soon as they come into view. He may have never seen a squirrel, but he has had many encounters with monkeys. He is used to having his picture taken as if he were a celebrity. (This has slowed as he has gotten older, but our waitress at Bubba Gump recently told us that her Facebook profile picture was the one she took with Ezra that last time we were there .. I am still a bit shocked by that one.) He is nearly swimming on his own because we can't go outside without including a trip to the pool. Finally, he has multiple chipped teeth because of all of his falls on our tile floors (remember, carpet in Malaysia would lead to many mold and mildew issues).
