Here is an actual conversation I had at McDonald's last week. I often take the boys for an ice cream treat after I drop Ella off at her art class.
Lady Working behind the ice cream counter at McDonald's: "Is that a boy or a girl?" (in reference to Ezra).
Me: "He is a boy."
Lady: "No .. that's a girl .. look at her face .. she looks like a girl."
Me: "No, he is a boy. His name is Ezra."
Lady: "No, that's a girl."
Me: (Trying not to show my annoyance) "I assure you, he is a boy."
We exchange money, she speaks to the kids, the boys say hi, etc. to her. Then we get ready to leave.
Me: "Ok boys, say good bye and thank you."
Lady: "Good-bye boy" (to Adlai) "Good-bye girl" (to Ezra)
Seriously? 
Our sweet Ezra has some cute curls which I have not been ready to cut off. He lived so long without any hair, so I'm quite fond of the blonde ringlets. However, as soon as I told Case the story, he said that they have to go.

Really? That's crazy. Dawson had cute curls like that and I hated to cut them too...Shaun would have made me cut them if that happened too:).
That is crazy!!!! He looks like a very handsome little boy to me!!
