I should have posted this before posting a picture of myself in front of the red lanterns. Either I ate way to much Chinese food or I am very pregnant. The later is true. We are excited that will be adding a fourth child (a little girl) to our family in the next few months.
We are so thankful for the team of doctors that we have here. I am being closely monitored because of my blood clotting conditions and have been self-administering injections just like I did while I was pregnant with Ezra. Although the hospitals don't run like they do in the U.S. (which has been extremely frustrating), I am receiving care here that was beyond my expectations. As an added bonus, the cost is very reasonable. Check out my $15 US dollar ultrasound from last week:
Fifteen dollars is the actual price of the ultrasound - not my co-pay, or what insurance doesn't cover. The detailed thirty minute ultrasound that I received at 20 weeks cost just $30 US dollars!
However, having a child overseas will definitely add different challenges. We will need to take care of birth certificates and passports, which include trips to the embassy. We will need to get her on our work visa and make sure that we are properly vaccinating her. Additionally, we need to buy a mini-van .. one with a steering wheel on the wrong side of the car.

Wow Rachel you are so beautiful! Pete and I are so excited for you and how cool is it that your little girl will be born over seas!
Congratulations, Rachel! We're excited for you guys!
Did you realize that you will have to change the name of your blog?? ;)
Our newest granddaughter looks like she's developing nicely. Let's tell her to be a little kinder to her mommy.
