Why Can't We All Just Drive on the Right Side of the Road?

We're here and we're settling in!  Unfortunately, we now have to figure out how to live here on a daily basis.  This means venturing out into the city.

The good news is that I'm pretty sure that my blood pressure is back to normal after our first adventure on the road.  The bad news is that we will probably have to do it again tomorrow.  I would be happy if our car just stayed parked right where it is!

Out of necessity we headed to the mall to get groceries.  (Yep, the grocery store is in the mall!)  The mall is less than a mile away - but it couldn't come soon enough.  We made it safely and spent a couple of hours trying to get a few items.  All I can say is that I'm glad my kids like ramen.  Food is relatively inexpensive, unless you  buy 'western' food .. but there aren't many 'western' choices.  It's probably a good thing that I haven't been able to find mac & cheese.
