Are we there yet?

What an incredible, tiresome, laborious (and hopefully meaningful) journey the CO F. have been on in the past several months. As I (Case) type this Ella slumbers while perched in our new used stroller, Ezra nurses, and Adlai nestles in the cradle of one of our China Airline business lounge sofa chairs. The crescendo of our journey occurred this morning, the day of our departure. Due to our lack of furniture we opted for a hotel room. Knowing that we would need to accomplish multiple tasks we woke early and arrived at our home around seven thirty and started were we had left off a midnight. I drove loads of clothes to donation centers and filled, crammed and stuffed as much of our worldly goods as possible in our tiny storage unit while Rachel tended to the children and attempted to clean and organize our piles; all the while, a carpet installation crew ripped up carpet and padding around us. By twelve thirty we had accomplished most of what we could and decided to say our farewells to the hard-at-work carpet crew. As we drove to DIA I felt the stress slowly melt off, while Rachel still felt the pressures due our international move. While the DIA TSA showed no empathy to our plight at the security checkpoint, we did eventually make it through and have time to relax. From Denver we flew direct to San Fransisco, discarding Denver's local Frontier Airlines for the international China Airlines carrier. So now we sit, enjoying the Business lounge with China Airlines. The tranquility of the lounge is making my eyelids heavy and my body wishes desperately for me to 'shut it down". Rachel seems to be in better condition....... O.k. I've been thinking what to write for a few moments, but the lead weights hanging from my eyelids are winning out.
