We have returned to Malaysia after five weeks of rest and relaxation in the U.S. I was dreading the return, but I have actually started feeling at home here. (Case, don't get any ideas about extending our time, though.) The traffic still drives me mad and don't let me get started on the bugs .. but all in all, we feel settled and we're enjoying where God has us.
Ok, I mentioned the bugs, so I can't continue without posting these photos. Apparently these are Malaysia's version of a centipede:
Yep, just another day in Malaysia .. a simple hike brings creatures that should only be in the jungle. Wait, we live in the jungle! I guess that whatever we find (like cockroaches) will be much bigger here:
Just your average leaf here!
In other news ...
Our family celebrated Adlai's birthday last week with a trip to Chili's for some American food:
Last weekend, we had an actual party for him at our new club. (We pay less for a family membership at this club than what Case paid for an individual membership to a local gym in Colorado.) The facilities at our club are incredible and perfect for a party.
He had a blast! It was a perfect way to celebrate his big 0-4.
