This was the view on the other side of the rest area/ prayer area. Not bad for still being on the highway. I'm looking forward to actually driving up into the mountains and seeing the sites from there.
On the way home, as is very predictable, we hit bad weather again. The same type of weather that preceded our fateful encounter with Chong.
I took this picture while still in Ipoh. This is just one of the many limestone hills that dot the landscape.

Nice pictures, - how long is the drive to Ipoh? Mom B.
It's about a two hour drive barring the torrential rains that can hit you as you pass through the mountains.
